My Monday is complete when I’ve listened to SmutStack. This week’s special guest star (I was a child of the 70’s and Love Boat fanatic..don’t judge me) was none other than the super talented Alex Cunning, a favorite author of mine, and they were talking all things cuckolding. Alex, it was great to hear more about your writing process. Knowing the way you so carefully craft your stories and character universe, it comes as no shock that you work in technology. In my former corporate life, I worked with a lot of IT folks and I learned a good deal about the planning and discipline required to be satisfied with the end product. Freckles/Alex…I hope that collab you talked about comes to fruition when you have both have time. Toward the end of the podcast you talked about the movie Pillion. I know as authors your spare reading time is limited, but I’ll offer up the novella Pillion was based upon, Box Hill: A Story of Low Self Esteem by Adam Mars-Jones. It shows the dom, Ray in a slightly more favorable light, but Freckles was completely right about the lack of appropriate communication and establishment of relationship rules. When I first saw the movie, think I ‘papered over the cracks’ in the screenplay using what I knew from the written work. It took Freckles pointing a few things out to me for me to see that. Zack/Freckles…thanks for starting off my week thoughtfully! Keep it coming!
Thanks for the film recommendation, Freckles!
Also, Google Edward R. Murrow who coined the phrase you like to say.

I really enjoyed this interview. Alex inspires and influences my writing, and your questions were questions I would have asked.
